Bi Design House caps occupancy at 10 guests over 12 to ensure a tranquil and inspiring stay experience for all.
There is no lack of designer hotels and chic accommodations in Bali, yet Bi Design House offers something more – a holistic Balinese experience of meaningful connection and artistic inspiration.

Located in Babakan, just five minutes from Canggu's surf breaks, this five-suite boutique property is owned by Sheila Man, an interior photographer whose warm personality shows in every corner of the space. Man handpicks all the interiors using a mix of locally made furniture by CB Design, ANADA and Nusantara Lifestyle, along with locally crafted ceramics from Kevala. Eye-catching lighting pieces from Ong Cen Kuang, Lumiere Shades and Pigment Rouge complete the look.
"We want our guests to rediscover the joy of creativity and community, free from expectations and pressures," notes Man. "Bali's magical essence encourages collaboration and fuels creativity, offering an environment where dreams can flourish."
The five suites – Phoenix, Luna, Master, Pool and Courtyard – offer views of either the rice fields or courtyard. Each has its own personality to suit guests of all tastes, from rustic beige and dusty pink to emerald green, with organically shaped furniture throughout. Non-toxic paint from Altarize ensures guest safety.

The Pool Suite has a peaceful bathroom with both a shower and an alcove bathtub for maximum relaxation. The Courtyard Suite, as its name suggests, opens onto a private courtyard through a large arched doorway that fills the room with natural light.
What really makes Bi Design House stand out is its arts-focused programming. Daily yoga sessions, hands-on ceramics and painting workshops, and guided tours of Bali's craft scene give guests chances to connect with each other and the island's vibrant creative community.

The hotel also takes guests to hidden spots to visit local craftsmen and artists for an insider's look at Bali's dynamic creative scene. Communal dinners and talks with local artists and designers happen regularly, giving like-minded guests a chance to connect and unwind.

"Our boutique hotel is designed for those looking to revive their creative spirit and connect with others," says Man.
Other amenities include a private pool overlooking rice fields, a dedicated creative workshop space and spa services. For travellers seeking more than just a place to sleep, Bi Design House is the place to be.
