Le Labo has opened its first flagship store in Korea, located in the historic Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul.

Nestled near Gyeongbokgung Palace, the new "Bukchon Hanok, Seoul Lab" preserves original stonework while integrating intricate wooden floors and finishes crafted from Hanji paper and hand-worked hemp. Set within two traditional hanoks in the Jongno District, this space seamlessly combines Korean heritage with the brand’s Slow Perfume Craftsmanship and the Wabi-sabi aesthetic.

The architectural design maintains features such as tiled roofs, wooden beams, and courtyards, enhanced by finely crafted wooden floors and natural materials like Hanji paper and hand-dyed linen. Inside, a minimalist fragrance lab with plaster walls, black metal accents, and concrete creates a contrasting, textured environment.

It also features a café courtyard where guests can relax with tea or coffee while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. This location is the fourth Le Labo Café worldwide, after Kyoto, Shanghai and Williamsburg in New York.
