Søuld
At 3daysofdesign, four Danish brands— Søuld, Motarasu, WeDoWood, and Rye — come together to transform a studio apartmentinto a serene, nature-inspired living space. Søuld, known for its CO₂-storing, recyclableacoustic materials made from eelgrass, bringsa sense of calm and sustainability indoors. This curated exhibition celebrates mindfuldesign, showcasing natural materials, minimalist aesthetics, and a commitment towell-being and the environment.
Fischersund
Fischersund, an Icelandic art and designcollective founded by four siblings in Reykjavik, blends scent, sound, andstorytelling. Exhibited at Hotel Cecil, they hosted an immersive scent and soundexperience. Known for their ethereal perfumesand atmospheric compositions—crafted byJónsi of Sigur Rós, Sindri, and Kjartan—thebrand creates multisensory journeys that evokethe essence of Iceland.
ALPI
ALPI, a pioneer in reconstituted woodsurfaces, presented a site-specific exhibitioncurated by GamFratesi at the ThorvaldsensMuseum. Titled "Echoes of Form: classicalshape, contemporary language," theinstallation featured 14 sculptures in dialoguewith Bertel Thorvaldsen’s neoclassical works, blending classical inspiration with modern design using ALPI wood surfaces byrenowned designers like nendo, Piero Lissoni, and Estúdio Campana.
BREAD AND BUTTER
BREAD AND BUTTER is a travelling exhibition platform for young designers, transforming everyday spaces into creativestages across different cities. Its debut showduring 3daysofdesign, held at OURI—the newrestaurant by KOPAN in Copenhagen—explores the theme of the ‘Perfect Pair’ through dining objects by 12 designers fromKorea, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Theexhibition celebrates simplicity, connection, and the sensory rituals of daily life.
Project MATERIA
TABLEAU and Èdition Solenne presented Project MATERIA, an ongoing exploration of materiality through the lenses of bronze, marble, and glass. Featuring works by eightinternational artists—including AndresReisinger, Helle Mardahl, and Willem Van Hooff—the exhibition blends art and design, shaped by research and hands-on production in Pietrasanta, Italy.
UNFRAMED
Normann Copenhagen presents UNFRAMED—a conceptual exhibition that reimaginesdesign beyond traditional boundaries. Spanning multiple floors of their showroom, the show blurs the line between product andinstallation, exploring form, materiality, andthe unexpected through immersive, experimental spaces. It's a celebration of boldideas and creative freedom.
Vipp
Vipp collaborates with Studio KO totransform a mid-century Copenhagen garageinto an ephemeral guesthouse that bridges Nordic minimalism and Mediterraneanwarmth. Marking Studio KO’s first Scandinavian project, the space blends roughand refined elements—charred wood, copper, Italian marble, and Berber-inspired textiles—creating a poetic clash of cultures. Theinstallation reimagines Vipp icons like the V1 kitchen and Swivel chair through a Moroccan-French lens, offering a bold, sensorialexperience that steps outside Vipp’s minimalist comfort zone.
101 Copenhagen
101 Copenhagen presented a strikingexhibition inspired by the philosophy of umami—the art of perfect balance. Unveilingthe new Frame Lighting Collection, the brandexplores harmony through sculptural forms, material contrasts, and serene minimalism. Each piece embodies the quiet tensionbetween softness and strength, invitingstillness and depth into every space.
Molteni&C
Molteni&C celebrated its first collaborationwith Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi at the Copenhagen Flagship Store, operated by INTERSTUDIO. The exhibition showcasesthe Lia armchair and Tibeau bed highlightingthe duo’s blend of Scandinavian minimalismand Mediterranean elegance. Both piecesfeature black oak and light fabrics, with thedesigners present for a special press event.
10 Days of Summer
10 Days of Summer is a collaborative exhibition by the Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark, showcasing outdoor furniture and objects by 12 Finnish or Finland-based designers (Aino Michelsen, Aleksi Peltonen, Antrei Hartikainen, Elisa Defossez, Henri Judin, Jonas Lutz, Rasmus Palmgren, Salla Luhtasela, Samuli Helavuo, Studio Tolvanen, Tatu Laakso, Ville Auvinen) during 3daysofdesign 2025. Curated by Anne Blond, director of Museum Wegner, the exhibition explores how Nordic seasons and shifting weather inspire functional yet poetic designs for outdoor living. Set in spaces designed by architect Pinja Koskelin, the show highlights pieces that blend practicality with emotion—offering comfort, resilience, and a touch of Nordic melancholy.
