Over 3,000 brands showcased this September at the Paris edition of renowned design fair Maison & Objet. We present our favourite products and projects.

1. Da Terra With Love creates simple yet elegant table collections that appeal to everyone. At Maison & Objet Paris, the Portuguese brand presented two new lines – a range of fun and colourful dishes, bowls and cups that are hand-painted and available in different sizes, and a new line of delicate fabrics for the table in pure linen.

2. Expect quirky curiosities from French group Petite Friture; its new products play with colours and fun shapes. A pair of rabbit ears emerge from the surface of the white porcelain Curiosity dish by Sam Baron while the Nubilo armchair by Constance Guisset invites you to take a break with style atop its large colourful cushions.

3. Italian brand Seletti continues to impress with its ironic collections. The concrete Camera vases by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, vintage cameras in vase form, are the first of many novelties. The Le Morandiane table lamps by Elena Salmistraro recall the stylings of renowned Italian painter Giorgio Morandi, while the My Little Neighbour table lamp, also by Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba, evokes an inimitable sense of romance and poetry.

4. Dutch designer Marga van Oers launched her career merely two years ago with her company Story Tiles, which prints her designs on tiles, wood and cards. Now, her collections are sold in 20 countries around the world. At the fair, she presented Having a Feast, a new addition to the Old Dutch Tiles collection featuring a delicate design in blue on a white background, and Catch Me If You Can, a new design that enriches the Modern Tiles line.

5. Danish brand Normann Copenhagen’s modus operandi—creativity and colour—was clearly evident in the amusing wall clock Bold. The simple design features a numberless face and is available in several different colours. Another new, not-to-be-missed product is the Acrobat lamp, a flexible piece that’s well-suited to any kind of desk.
