European grandeur and exquisite French flair permeate this 12,900 sq.ft. home by BDSD Boundless Design.
Nestled between emerald golf fairways and rolling mountains in Dongguan, this five-story retreat by BDSD Boundless Design represents the je ne sais quoi of cross-cultural luxury living. This French-inspired villa spans five floors of carefully curated spaces where European grandeur meets sophisticated Asian design sensibilities.

The ground floor uses stone pillar arcades and arched doorways throughout. Carved gypsum moldings work alongside mirrors and glass elements in neutral tones. The lounge recreates 19th-century salon style with dark green display cabinets, landscape paintings, and strategic red accent lighting. A flower-adorned screen separates the tea room, where Oriental elements complement the courtyard views.

The dining area features crystal chandeliers and dark-toned furniture with mid-century sideboards. The open kitchen centers on an island that creates circular traffic flow, while dark green cabinets provide storage. Natural light filters through shutters throughout both spaces.

The basement serves multiple functions around a central wine cellar. Black-and-white parquet floors pair with brass mirrors and dark green velvet furniture. Facilities include a spa room, steam room, and sunken bathtub for wellness, plus a mezzanine gym and billiards area for recreation.

The second floor maximizes natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings, functioning as a family art gallery. Abstract artworks, gold accents, and natural materials create display areas within the symmetrical layout.

Upper floor bedrooms include minimalist seating areas and direct outdoor access. Throughout the villa, art integrates into lighting, furniture placement, and circulation routes rather than serving as decoration alone.
