The clubhouse, conceived by via., channels actual water movement into every curve and surface.

Good design responds directly to the place in which it's built, and Club Cascade, the new clubhouse at Wong Chuk Hang's premium residential development La Montagne, is a case in point.

Spanning 28,205 square feet, the facility overlooks Deep Water Bay and Brick Hill, surrounded by some of the city's most sought-after natural scenery. Architectural firm via., known for redefining premium clubhouses, took cues directly from this unique location and made it the foundation of the entire design.

Walking through feels intentionally cinematic. You're greeted by a foyer where transparent cubes mimic cascading water droplets, then guided by curved timber walls that ripple like flowing streams, wayfinding that doubles as living art.

The social spaces are calibrated perfectly for Hong Kong's entertaining culture. The main banquet room seats 12 with direct garden access and an integrated show kitchen, ideal for dinner parties where the cooking becomes performance. For more intimate events, the 10-person function space connects seamlessly to mahjong and multimedia rooms finished in warmer, textured materials.

via. maximised the curved frontage to capture those sweeping green views. The co-working area balances communal tables with private booth seating, while the games zone features window banquettes, perfect for the city's growing work-from-clubhouse demographic.

The aquatic theme extends to the wellness facilities. Gym and yoga spaces feature teal tones with undulating floor and ceiling patterns, while massage rooms extend the concept through curved walls and minimal palettes designed for genuine relaxation rather than social media moments.

Most Hong Kong clubhouses feel like they could exist anywhere. This one decidedly does not.
