Home to a family of three, this inviting space boasts three bedrooms and two expansive living areas. The clever amalgamation of natural hues, wood tones and polished cement creates an alluring ambiance that emanates serenity and warmth.

As you step foot into the cosy apartment, its simple, uncluttered space exudes a serene ambiance that invites you to relax and unwind. This comforting living room was designed by CNS Interior Design. “The colour palette was deliberately kept limited, with an emphasis on white, log colour and cement grey art walls,” Founder Calvin Chui shared. “The centrepiece of the room is a revolving door that can be opened or closed based on the homeowner's preferences, offering a unique interpretation of the space.” The door is made with a mirror surface that reflects the room, adding depth and intrigue to an otherwise minimalistic design.

The living and dining rooms sit side-by-side, basking in ample natural light spilling from the floor-to-ceiling windows at the living room's end. The barrier-free space allows a seamless flow of sunlight, unencumbered views, and a cosy ambiance complemented by uniform wood veneers and original wood tones.

Both rooms boast natural log-coloured flooring, which is offset by white fabric sofas and armchairs in the living room. The incorporation of intricately woven coffee tables and chairs imbues the space with a casual and carefree vibe. In contrast, the darker wooden furniture in the dining room adds a touch of diversity. Despite its understated palette, the area remains captivating. Adjacent to the dining room, the kitchen connects fluidly via glass doors, creating an effortless flow between the two sections.

The lighting was also well thought-out. In addition to the ceiling spotlights and chandeliers in the halls, light slots were installed at the base of the cabinets. This approach creates an illusion of light slipping through, causing the bulky cabinets to appear visually lighter. A ceiling light trough further enhances the design, bringing an added level of depth to the ceiling, linking the living room and dining room.

Home Interior

The master room follows the hall's design with simple colours and materials. The light grey bed echoes the cement wall art, which along with the chic bedside table and drawers with weaving elements, bring life to the space.

Home Interior

The master bathroom is well-equipped with a bathtub and rain shower screen. The storage space is cleverly arranged, hiding sanitary items and electric switches inside the cabinet for a clean and tidy appearance.

The design team created a comfortable atmosphere using simple materials, deserving appreciation. The homeowner is highly satisfied with the final design and decoration, everything living up to their expectation of comfortable comfort.
