Resisting a delicious scent is always a struggle – even more so when it’s housed in an equally appealing package. Here are four exquisitely designed fragrances we particularly love.

Much like his runway shows, fashion designer Marc Jacob’s Mod Noir doesn’t compromise on wowing the audience. Designed by Established in collaboration with the designer, the bottle is a clever mix of sophistication and modernity. Marc Jacob’s iconic quirky striped print interplays with black and white, shiny lacquer and a matte frosted finish.

Also by Established is Calvin Klein’s Reveal. Minimal finishes harmoniously pair with geometric proportions in a pillow-like, sensually curvy form. The highlight is its polished cap in soft gold that complements the warmth of the scent itself.

Taking cue from the brand’s iconic Matelasse bag, the first Miu Miu Eau de Parfum bottle is a lovely combination of opaque blue glass, a gold logo embossed in white matte, and a translucent red top that exudes playfulness and graphic effect. The scent contains a pleasant dose of Akigalawood.

Who says you can’t make a political statement with a perfume? Artist Anicka Yi and architect Maggie Peng dedicated Shigenobu Twilight to female Japanese revolutionary Fusako Shigenobu by infusing the fragrance with a base note of cedar wood, and constructing the bottle’s case from the same material. The wood is regarded as the national emblem in Lebanon, where Shigenobu spent several years in exile due to her incendiary political statements. The case’s unique form is the result of hand cut geometric facets, and encases a 10ml easily portable and sturdy silver bottle.
