Boomerang table by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret

Some highlights of the exhibition include the Boomerang table and pair of office armchairs created by Le Corbusier and his cousin Jeanneret. Designed for an urban planning project aiming to transform the city of Chandigarh, India in the 1950s, these pieces are notable for their understated yet unique X, U and V shapes. Also don’t miss the cabinet by Prouve, which is made from aluminium and steel – then considered pioneering materials in the world of furnishings.
