Local interior design power couple Vince Lim and Elaine Lu of Lim+Lu have infused their characteristically whimsical approach to this minuscule apartment at the Twin Peaks estate in Tseung Kwan O. Clocking in at only 500-sq-ft, the designers had to cater the home’s limited floor plan to the client – an eccentric Parisian fashion designer – and his love of colours and entertaining.

The result is a living-cum-dining room that has been designed to accommodate an abundance of seating that naturally extends out towards the balcony to best merge indoor and outdoor living.

To increase the sense of space, the colour palette tends towards the brighter end of the spectrum with warm pastels juxtaposed against deep blues. Reflective brass fixtures and metallic furnishings also serve to further the illusion of space.
