Inside the home, you'll find plenty of curves, hidden spaces and inviting colours. The curved lines lend a sense of movement and softness, while the furniture lends it some personality.
Featuring earthy tones and natural materials such as wood and marble, the home's colour scheme creates a homely, welcoming atmosphere. In the dining room, a small hexagonal dining table sits on one side, positioned in front of a semi-circular alcove seating nook. The juxtaposition between the table's straight lines and the nook's curves reflects the homeowner's independent personality and her gentle, feminine nature.
Painted a deep grey, the alcove adds texture and depth to the room, with wooden walls that hide hidden cabinet space. This corner is a safe haven for the homeowner, a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The intricate woodwork also serves as a reminder of the homeowner's father and his craftsmanship, embodying his love and dedication.
Then, moving further into the living room area, a curved, grey sofa seemingly sinks against the wall, making itself right at home. A throw blanket in burnt orange and throw cushions of varying textures and colours, including one in red, add a pop of colour to the space.
Providing a sense of relaxation and comfort, the master bedroom is a cosy retreat from the stresses of life. It's full of rich, warm colours and organic materials, similar to those used throughout the house. A huge window next to the bed adds a lot to the feeling of serenity and peace.
