Asia Designers Community members, homegrown interior designers and senior executives from some of the most premium furniture and design brands in the world while away the night at The Annex on July 8 for Home Journal’s cross-brand campaign 2022.
Home Journal’s annual cross-brand series has been held for three years in a row with incredible success and for the first time ever, we hosted a cocktail bash to celebrate the best-of-the-best furniture, home decor and appliances that embody the true value of what makes a design timeless.
It was a lively night where members from the Asia Designers Community (ADC), homegrown interior designers, and senior executives from brands including BoConcept, Ekobor, LG, Vela Casa, and Zzue Creation gathered at premier venue The Annex in Central, celebrating and mingling over drinks and lip-smacking canapés.
This year’s campaign is different from its previous renditions in that we’ve invited three SGS-certified interior design firms – C&I Interior Design, Hei Design, and Make It Works – to handpick a range of home pieces that pays homage to timeless design, curating a bespoke conceptual living space in an exhibition titled “Lasting Beauty”.
The Annex was transformed for the event into a minimalist space marked by a pared-back colour palette and curated lightings focusing on anything but the craftsmanship, functionality and simplicity of the showcased pieces, including items such as the extendable dining table Fiorentina by BoConcept, Ekobor’s classic saddle seat, LG’s OLED TV, the Carlton sofa from Vela Casa, and Zzue Creation’s outdoor artificial grass.
Displaying in tandem with the cocktail party, the exhibition was officially opened to the public on July 9 and 10, taking visitors on the journey of discovering the stories and creativity behind these innovations.
