Superior chemical resistance to hydrolysis, as well as cleaning agents such as ammonia, compared to existing metals valves such as brass, and can be used in sea water applications.

For example, the type of material that sanitaryware is made of can help to reduce bacteria and harmful germs. Rigel’s advanced PuraShield antibacterial ceramics technology consists of a proprietary mixture of unique elements and compounds that kills over 99% of bacteria.

This proactive antibacterial glaze coating is baked into the ceramic surface at above 1200 degrees Celcius and fused permanently onto the ceramics. Rigel provides sanitaryware solutions, safe, clean and hygienic products.

The WhirlWash Technology featured in Rigel’s toilets offer maximum efficiency with a high impact flush and low water consumption. This is achieved by an open design whereby water flows to all surfaces within, covering entire areas without splashing – which also keeps the toilet and its surroundings germ-free.

Automated sensing is another smart way to keep germs at bay. Rigel’s no-touch, sensor-activated faucets minimise the need for contact while producing accurate water flow. 

The Bubble Effect Sensor Faucet features a specially designed fixture at the nozzle end that enriches water with air so that the water feels plumper. This not only enriches the hand-washing experience, but also minimises splashing and in turn, the spread of germs.
