As the only contemporary art fair in the fall, the Asia Contemporary Art Show attracts a cross-section of emerging and mid-career artists from across Asia and beyond to exhibit at its venue in the Conrad Hong Kong.

Taking place over three days from September 28 to October 1, the twice-yearly event returns for its fall edition with a strong showing of over 2,000 artworks by artists from Japan, Taiwan, China, France, the UK, and more. Highlights include the iconic and provocative photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, French urban artist Invader, London-based muralist D*Face, and Chinese leather sculptor Wang Liwei.

This edition of the Asia Contemporary Art Show will feature a special charity exhibition hosted by the Connecting Myanmar NGO, headlined by pioneering performance and experimental Burmese artist, Aung Myint. With pieces held in the collections of notable institutions such as the Guggenheim, Aung Myint’s Mother and Child series evokes intimate physical connection between two figures using only single, unbroken lines of black acrylic.

Swipe through below for a preview of some of the artworks that will be on show. Home Journal readers can sign up here for free access to the invitation-only UnionPay VIP Collectors Preview (on a first-come first-serve basis).
