Nendo Design, founded by architect Oki Sato, teams up with rug company Nodus to craft this exquisite “one-stroke” rug, in which the decorative pattern is created with one very long single line – “during the making of which the pen was never detached from the sheet of paper,” explains Oki. Each piece is hand-tufted by craftsmen in India over the course of six months and invites the observer to trace the trajectory of the pattern with their eyes.
