Prominent Canadian residential developer Westbank unveils what’s claimed to be Vancouver’s largest cultural hub – Oakridge, a monumental mosaic of residential space, retail experiences, public art, culinary delights and a large multi-level public park.
At the heart is Oakridge x Clémande, a stunning 17-storey residential complex with homes fully furnished with pieces curated by Parisian designer Clémande Burgevin Blachman, who had a hand in selecting the finest details of each residence – down to each Taschen book in the library, the robes in the bathroom, the utensils in the kitchen and the furnishings in the lobby.
Expected to be completed in 2024, its four residence types include studios, one- and two-bedrooms, and penthouses, with Clémande’s refined aesthetic and French savoir-faire pervading the interiors, from the distinctive minimalist neutral palette to the carefully interwoven brass and the colourful details.
These are accompanied by art-deco style lighting fixtures, open kitchens by Stelton, kitchenware by Le Creuset, heirloom china by Royal Copenhagen and soft furnishings from Hay that encapsulate the elegance of Danish design.
