Virgil Abloh, patron saint of streetwear and accessories emblazoned with their respective nouns in quotation marks, has finally debuted a full collection devoted to the home.

The founder of Off-White and artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton has designed a series of bed, bath, and ceramic furnishings simply and fittingly titled “HOME”, now exclusively available at the Off-White store in Mykonos, Greece.

Early this year, Abloh teased a series of rugs designed in collaboration with Swedish brand Ikea, depicting phrases in the iconic quotationed uppercase: “KEEP OFF”, “STILL LOADING”, “BLUE.”

For Art Basel, Abloh collaborated with Swiss company Vitra on a furniture line imagined for the future, displayed in an exhibition in a fire station. As well, for the Venice Biennale, Abloh designed “acqua alta”, a series of chairs that appear to be sinking.

No doubt it was only a matter of time before the design savant created a full furniture collection for Off-White, the high-end streetwear label he founded in 2013. Today, Off-White's clothing, accessories and footwear are identifiable by the brand's iconic use of capital letters and quotation marks.

“HOME” features three categories of homeware, named aptly so: “BED”, “BATH”, and “CERAMICS.”

The line includes – of course – off-white-coloured bedsheets and pillowcases, embroidered with the Off-White arrow emblem, which also features largely on a bright red throw blanket, designed like an oversized scarf.

The bath category features thick robes and hand and bath towels with the logo, as well as bright orange tags spelling out “HOME”.

Ceramics, the largest of the categories, includes breakfast and lunch wares such as plates, bowls, tea cups, coffee mugs, a pitcher, as well as ash and soap trays.

Bringing to mind touches of traditional Chinese porcelain, the ecru-hued ceramics also feature blue grass etchings.
