One of the most important cultural icons of the 20th century, Frank Sinatra remains a household name over 20 years since his passing in 1998.

His former Malibu abode, located on a strip of Broad Beach that offers scenic views of the Pacific Ocean, has been listed at US$12.9 million.

Said to be the American singer and actor’s favourite home – he owned two other California properties, in Los Angeles and Palm Springs – the structure was built in 1992 by Sinatra and his wife, Barbara. It’s played host to the couple’s many gatherings with friends, often equally high-profile Hollywood celebrities, as well as their renewal of vows in 1996, only two years before Sinatra’s death.

Sinatra and his wife purchased the property on Broad Beach in 1990, and built the home with two storeys.
Apart from a swimming pool, spa, and elevator, the property has a landscaped garden and an exterior patio with direct access to the beach.

Views of the Pacific Ocean can be enjoyed from the home’s seven bedrooms, all outfitted with blonde wood furniture, cream and white coloured accents, and earthy accessories that complement the scenery.
Equipped with a large fireplace, the living area was ideal for the Sinatras’ get-togethers.
