Founded with the vision of inspirational and sustainable home living, TREE is the go-to destination for sustainably stylish furniture and naturally beautiful finishing touches.

The thoughtfully conceived brand shares new and meaningful design trends – from quality furniture to colours – that can be introduced in ways that don’t require a total transformation to keep your home fresh and current.

Sustainability

This trend is here to stay. “There’s a heightened awareness and demand for sustainable products that aren’t only beautiful and well-made, but also protects, or gives back, to our planet’s precious natural resources,” says Kate Babington, Managing Director of TREE.

TREE’s hardwood furniture – which unites contemporary designs with traditional craftsmanship – is crafted from teak, oak or walnut that is reclaimed, recycled, FSC-certified or sustainable, giving each piece a uniquely natural story.

Long-lasting eco-wood furniture isn’t the only way to adopt the sustainability trend.“Artisanal crafts in terracotta, natural fibres and stone are all raw materials that carry organic qualities.”

Cosy Beds

There’s nothing more comforting and restorative than sleeping in a comfy bed. “This year is all about perfecting the look of a cosy bed,” Kate notes. “Start with a solid foundation – like an eco-wood bed frame with its beautiful grains and naturally warm tones – to set a homely, inviting tone fit for any bedroom sanctuary.”

Add neutral coloured bedding topped with handwoven cushions and a gently draped throw for a layered, textured look that creates a cocoon for peaceful sleep.

Tactile Woven Pieces

Artisanal finishing touches add personal and individual flair. “There's something very special in knowing a one-of-a-kind piece has been lovingly crafted by the hands of skilled artisans,” says Kate. “They may bear imperfections and variations, but these add to the character, lending true authenticity and individuality that no mass-produced item could ever duplicate.”

Natural handwoven fibres like rattan, jute or abaca are grounding materials that imbue the home with a touch of nature.

Natural Tones

Neutral hues are versatile and evoke understated elegance. “The recent minimalist and wabi sabi movements have cultivated an ever-growing need to be conscious of one’s surroundings, pursue subtlety, simplicity and subscribe to the ‘less is more’ ethos,” explains Kate. “This approach to living naturally gives way to clean and clutter-free home, and a tranquil, neutral palette can help set the scene to wind down and reflect.”
