The HKTDC Houseware Fair runs from 20-23 April at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), where some 2,200 global exhibitors will showcase a wide range of high-quality household items.

This year, the HKTDC is partnering with WGSN, a renowned trend forecasting agency, to curate trend concept display areas, reveal Spring/Summer 2020 houseware trends and provide talks covering trending colours, materials, shapes and vibes.

To ensure easy navigation and an unforgettable experience, the Houseware Fair is presented with four main themes under the acronym, L.I.F.E – which stands for Lifestyle, Interior, Feast and Enrich.

Zones under Lifestyle include Hall of Elegance, World of Fine Dining, World of Fine Decor and Green Living.

Hall of Elegance showcases smart home products from companies such as Shantou Leqishi Plastic Products Co., Ltd – whose KIGI Food Storage Container has an app that checks the condition of food and offers recipe suggestions – from China, as well as must-have designer collections and brands that include Carl Schmidt Sohn, Dafi, Flonal, Konstar, Kool, Mr Big, and Westinghouse.

The World of Fine Dining zone features the LauLau Tableware series made from recycled bottles by Japanese company, Taiyo Chemicals Co Ltd. Other tableware, kitchenware and wine tools are presented by eminent brands such as Clip Fresh, Cleanwrap, Kobubo, Locksy, and Red A.

Head to the Interior area to find inspiration for styling up living spaces in zones comprised of Interior Decor, Festive Decor, Best of ASEAN, Group Pavilions and the debut zone, Candles and Scents.

Candles and Scents presents aromatic products designed to enhance peace of mind. One company, Rodia s.a from Greece will showcase their soy scented candles collection offered in a range of colours and aromas like orange-cinnamon or caramel-vanilla, alongside customisable blends.

Dedicated to tasting the sweetness in life, Feast brings together the Tableware, Wine Tools & Accessories, Kitchenware & Gadgets, and Home Appliances zones. This is where you can find reusable silicon straws from Hong Kong company Eastern Rich Industries Ltd, among other refined cooking and dining tool producers.

Enrich infuses living with vibrancy in the World of Pet Supplies, Homepedia, Baby Products, Bath, Beauty & Healthcare, Home Cleaning & Laundry, Storage Solutions, Outdoor & Gardening, Furniture, Trade Services and Startup zones.

You can also enjoy an array of seminars, networking events, and product demo and launch pad sessions that enlighten, inspire, and facilitate business matching and networking.
